What kind of surface is necessary in order to use Veneer Stone Works products?
Our products may be adhered to any properly prepared, clean, untreated, structurally sound wall surfaces such as wood, wallboard, masonry or metal. Please see Installation instructions for further information.
Can Veneer Stone Works products be applied over other surfaces such as brick or other materials?
Yes, further information on application and substrates are given in our installation instructions.
Can Veneer Stone Works products be used on fireplace facings or the wall behind a freestanding stove?
Yes, our products have been tested and classified to be a Non-combustible material. Test results revealed zero flame spread and no smoke developed. Before installation around fireplace, please refer to the manufactures installation instructions as well as local building codes.
Will I need anything besides stone to finish my project?
Possibly, be sure to ask about trim and architectural accessories to give your project a polished and complete look.
Do I have to use grout?
No. Stone can be grouted or non-grouted. If it is a grouted application be aware that you can choose from several grout colors that match or contrast your stone.

What maintenance is required for Veneer Stone Works products?
Periodic washing to remove surface dust and debris is all that is required.
What are Veneer Stone Works products made of?
Our products are cast in molds taken from hand selected natural stone, using a process which captures every last detail. Each color and texture uses a unique blend of cement, aggregates and iron oxide pigments. Upon close inspection these manufactured stones closely resemble natural stone in feel and texture.
